Refund & Cancellation Policy

All refunds approved by Hukumsa will be processed back to your original payment method through PhonePe Payment Gateway within 3 business days of approval. Please read the eligibility conditions below before raising a request.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations will only be considered if the request is made within 7 days of placing the order. However, cancellation requests may not be entertained if:

  • The order has been communicated to our delivery partners or assigned to a service team and work has commenced.
  • The product or service is out for delivery or already delivered.

In such an event, you may choose to reject the product at the doorstep if applicable. For service-based orders (software, app, website development), cancellations after work commencement may be subject to partial charges for work already completed.

Perishable & Non-Returnable Items

Hukumsa does not accept cancellation requests for perishable items such as flowers, eatables or any other time-sensitive products. However, a refund or replacement may be processed if the user establishes that the quality of the product delivered is not good, with supporting evidence submitted to our customer service team.

Damaged or Defective Items

In case of receipt of damaged or defective items:

  • Report to our customer service team within 7 days of receipt.
  • The request will be entertained once our team has checked and determined the issue.
  • If the product received is not as shown on the site or not as per your expectations, you must notify our customer service within 7 days of receiving the product.

Our customer service team will review your complaint and take an appropriate decision after investigation.

Warranty Items

In case of complaints regarding products that come with a manufacturer's warranty, please refer the issue to the manufacturer directly. We are unable to process warranty claims on behalf of manufacturers.

Submit a Refund Request

Contact us within the eligible window via email at hello@hukumsa.com or call +91 86902 08471 with your order details and reason for the request.

Review & Approval

Our team will review your request, inspect the returned product or assess the service issue, and notify you of approval or rejection within 2–3 business days.

Refund via PhonePe

Once approved, the refund will be initiated through PhonePe Payment Gateway back to your original payment method (UPI, card or net banking) within 3 business days of approval.

Bank Credit Timeline

After the refund is initiated by us through PhonePe, the time for the amount to reflect in your account depends on your bank: typically 3–7 business days for cards, and 1–2 business days for UPI.

PhonePe Refund Details

Refunds are processed exclusively through PhonePe Payment Gateway. Key points:

  • Refunds are always credited to the original payment source — we cannot transfer refunds to a different account or payment method.
  • You will receive an SMS/notification from PhonePe once the refund is initiated.
  • If you do not receive the refund within 10 business days of the approval notification, please contact PhonePe support or your bank, and copy us at hello@hukumsa.com.
  • Shipping charges, if any, are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.
